I love the various expressions that run over both their faces, without words: embarrassment, attraction, joy, profundity. I don't think two actors have ever communicated more through facial expressions. For me, they both render Emma and Knightley with such great psychological complexity. I think Jane Austen would be delighted if she saw this.

This scene has brought tears to my eyes so many times. Johnny Lee Miller is such a perfect Mr. Knightley. He shows vulnerability, unease, delight all in one. This scene is magic and can I say hurrah for the DIRTY GLOVES. Of COURSE you would have your gloves dirty after wearing them for several hours!

This scene always warm my heart. Mrs Weston (Ms Taylor) smile n expression in seeing them is exactly mine everytime I watch this scene. Emma is blooming n shining such a beautifully, and Mr. Knightly blinking eyes speak how much she vex him😊

I love this scene and this adaptation is my favourite. Emma would guess that a man who makes her smile and feel happy in that way is the right man to live with. They are both so happy that is obvious that they are perfect to be a couple. Beautiful story.

The only criticism i have of johnny's knightley is his height. I always thought mr knightley was tall. Other than that i love him.
