Okay, for all of the haters on here, let me tell you something. There were a few times where I was playing under the weather. The first time, I was coming down with a virus, and I couldn't breathe well, I was moving sluggish and couldn't find any energy. My friends told me to sit out during my league match, and they had to sub in.
The other couple times I was recovering from a cold. Similar issues, couldn't breathe well, felt weak, I was stumbling, and almost toppled over when I was serving. My friend actually asked me if I was drunk. So yes, I have gone out thinking I could tough it out, but in fact, I couldn't. Serena thought the same damn thing, and she couldn't, and she was feeling worse throughout the match. So shut up, and let her recover, Jesus Christ!

Listen. I have so much respect for Serena as a player. And that will never change. But everyone making excuses about how she had a really tough match before, that’s what tennis is all about. Grinding out a tough match, and then being able to follow it up again and again. I just think she needs to work on her endurance or longevity. And if she really is sick or has the flu or something, then ignore everything I just said and I hope she gets better

The Reality: She is suffering from Viral (if you couldn’t tell from azarenka post match interview). She felt really dizzy after 3rd ser tiebreaker but still continued to play, had heavy breathing and then she decided to retire
