The same situation happened to me and my family. We got an inheritance and there was GOLD from my parents. But my sister asked, what the heck is she gonna do with metals. I tried explaining to her about the value of metals but she wanted the money value from the metals. I explained to her about SPOT prices at the time. She asked if I would buy her out of the metals. Gold for SPOT? She was more than happy to trade me her metals for FIAT. I appreciated it too. StackOn!

Paul Belanger has done some great research to show that a portfolio with great returns and security is one with 2/3 stocks and 1/3 gold, as compared to other blends of stocks, gold, and bonds. As I make my way through my working years, that's the portfolio blend I'm aiming towards.

That is not a rust spot. It is a copper Spot. If you do some research, there is a way to remove copper spots from gold. I believe it requires Heating it up slightly with a blow torch.

Still buying to flip to this day. I recently bought a tube of 1/10 Gold Brits for just $3 per coin over melt. So per oz, definitely less than Costco Buffalos! They are currently going for $30 per coin more than I paid for them.

Louie, your cat is hilarious how it likes to walk over your metals. I think she/he is claiming it, lol. I think your gold collection is not odd, but totally awesome. Have you thought about selling your pandas and kangaroos in exchange for eagles or buffalos? When SHTF those same family members who said no to the gold inheritance will be at your door looking for you to give them gold. PS...love the gold pocket watch!! You have some Beautiful pieces there Louie. I have heard it said that coin shops are reluctant to buy back recently and when they do they see quality/slabbed gold as bullion and won't pay up. I sold a 100 corona gold coin recently so that i could pay cash for a Brandnew rav4 hybrid and my coin shop got a little annoyed that i was selling at an all time high. Do you have any thoughts. I work on the road and as soon as I get home this coming weekend, I am going to trade up on some platinum with a part of my silver stack, it’s around historic lows on the ratio. Good advice on working your stack and it keeps it interesting without capital. Thanks as always Louie.

What a wonderful story about your PM journey.
It really added a lot to your online persona to me.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE your price reports, but always felt like a student that didn't do his homework.
Today's video made me feel like I was a friend listening to another's story similar to mine.
Although I didn't flip much, I think that your progress via flipping helped you deal with the sticker shock that I experienced once I discovered these type Utube channels about 3 months ago.
Having recently reentered the buying process of stacking, I feel the sting of today's prices.
I distinctly remembering slowing down on PMs when silver hit $20 and gold hit $800. lol.
I still spent the same amount of fiat on a schedule but took home less preciousness.
I never really bothered with cost average; I have fiddled with it lately to put some mercurochrome on the sting.

Presently with my budget I’m buying quarter ounce gold coins but what are your thoughts on the, I believe it’s called a double eagle and I think it’s about a quarter ounce. What are your thoughts of stacking those instead of quarter ounce Philharmonics, quarter ounce maples quarter ounce American gold eagles since prices are higher on those.
