The Thief and the Cobbler: One Eye's March Scene

Don't get me wrong, this scene is impressive, why? because it's Richard Williams. There is a history of this movie like It was in production before Aladdin.

Alright, now about this movie, this is one of the most unfinished movies that sadly was one of the roughest, like some people say, making an animation is not easy and it takes time to finish it off. This one was so close to being finished. This cut is the recobbled cut, just letting you all know that.

The Thief and the Cobbler belongs to Richard Williams

You know, for a barbarian army, they certainly seem pretty well disiplined to march in such formations.

Judging by the colors and such, I wonder if the One Eyes were based on the Timiruids.

Damn no wonder he's called One Eye. Dude has enough spikes to poke the eyes off a beholder.

No wonder the other animation companies tried to sabotage this film - and left it incomplete.

Maybe I'm crazy for thinking this, but I'm getting almost Samurai Jack vibes from this.

That one eye army is so super hardcore and badass! All those war machines and equipment and war beasts and vast numbers of soldiers! Just looking at that army approaching would make you think the end of the world had come!

Rest in Peace Richard Willaims

I've heard that he died ;( we will remember him for trying to make this movie as the biggest legacy in all of animation history.

This animation is stunning. The animators must have been superhuman.

This scene reminds me of the Uruk-Hai attacking Helm’s Deep

That all looks *very* pointy.

I’m not even gonna say what specifically, you take a pick.

Such a badass looking army, defeated in one of the most contrived ways possible

I’ve always loved how the main characters look like Disney characters, secondary characters look like something out of a DePatie-Freleng cartoon, and then these guys look like something out of a Gerald Scarfe-Ralph Steadman night terror.
