Here is a technical 3D animation for the Executor-Class Star Destroyer, or Super Star Destroyer. Enjoy!

The Executor-class Star Dreadnought, also known as the Executor-class Super Star Destroyer, Super Star Destroyer were some of the largest and most powerful Imperial starships ever created. Along with other classes of massive Imperial capital ships, they were also referred to as Super Star Destroyers, although they were technically classified as Star Dreadnoughts. The most notable Super Star Destroyer was the Executor, flagship of Darth Vader.

Vessels of the Executor-class Dreadnought line measured at 19,000 meters in length, and utilizing its thirteen Executor-50.x engines, could reach speeds of 100 kilometers per hour.

These starships were crewed by thousands and were outfitted with a class 2 hyperdrive, a titanium-reinforced hull, over 5,000 turbolaser and ion cannon batteries, and concussion missile tubes.

A bridge deflector shield was also included as a layer of defense and maintained a complement of thousands of starships including TIE/ln space superiority starfighters, TIE/sa bombers, and TIE/IN interceptors. Vessels of the Executor-class also had at least one hangar bay and escape pods.
The Executor-class's bridge was 285 meters wide and contained shield generators, briefing rooms, and escape pods. However, it was relatively exposed, making it vulnerable to enemy attack.
The Super-class Star Destroyer was manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards during the reign of the Galactic Empire. In addition, The Star Destroyers that the Imperials use don't have any landing gear. The way they transfer the soldiers and equipment down to planets are by shuttles, frigates, or any Imperial ship designed to transport such cargo.

The SSD is one of the coolest ships in scifi. It's large but still elegant.

I remember the first time seeing the Executor in the movies and just being blown away at it. I still find it impressive and the most menacing capital ship I've ever come across.

This ship was always tied with the Imperial-II class Star Destroyer as my favorite ship of all time in Star Wars. It’s an absolutely beautiful ship everywhere you look at it and it packed a huge punch in Legends especially. Loved this video!

The Executor-class will ALWAYS be my favorite line of Star Dreadnought! For my flagship is heavily, HEAVILY inspired by the Executor, along with the Eclipse 1 & 2, but with a lot of changes and modifications that I made myself.

Entire planets would have to be mined of their metal to build this...Incredible!!

In star wars legends, there was another Super Star Destroyer being built in the shipyards of Fondor. It was having a Cloaking device added, but was destroyed prior to Endor. This can be seen in Star Wars Rogue Squadron 3: rebel strike

From end to end, this thing was close to 12 miles. Like, imagine having to cover a lunch break for someone on the other side? That’s at least a 20 minute drive or will take about 4 hours to walk over.

Awesome work! And that ship is absolutely HUGE, this video really puts it into perspective.

This was what the Empire called a Star Dreadnought. Star Dreadnoughts were any ship in the imperial navy longer than 5, 000 meters, with some exceptions. Such an extreme piece of war power.

With the problem of getting ground forces down to a planet I'm surprised the Empire didn't take notes from what was done during the Clone Wars with building ships similar in design to the Acclamator class that was used for such things.

The Executor Class Super Star Destroyer of one of the most iconic ships in Sci-Fi and Movie History since the design was amazing, scary, cool looking and powerful and this ship should get more respect and appear in a new movie or something because that will be amazing to see it in modern effects. if i owned my own Executor i would name it the Dark Devastator. keep up the good work btw. HAIL THE EMPIRE!!!

Too badass for its own good. Would not turn one down, especially since I have a cool idea to mitigate the vulnerability of the command bridge position.

I’ve always wondered if the command center on the SSD was the same size as those on the normal Star Destroyers.

I always loved this ship, & the blue lighting of the windows or whatever they are

imagine if the turbo-lifts & troop transports stoped working. how long would it take to get from one side of Executor to the other ??
i guess crew would have assigned areas & would have quarters and facilities like mess halls, showers.etc near where they were assigned.
otherwise it would take days to walk from stern to bow...

Triangle-shaped ships make sense due to the fact that triangular structures are good at dispersing weight and force across their surface, so not only would the ship have high structural integrity, the impact from weapons fire (energy-based, or kinetic) would not be as damaging as if it was slamming into a completely flat side wall. At the same time, if the Executor-Class could angle itself properly in the direction of incoming enemy fire, its triangular hull would also give it the effect of sloped armor, letting any physical projectiles, and the kinetic energy and explosions generated by them, to slide off to the side, as well as, for all practical reasons, thickening the armor from the perspective of the direction of the shots hitting it.

The only thing I _definitely don't like_ about them, as the video pointed out, is that exposed bridge. Shield generators or not, the thing is exposed, and shield generators only seem to be effective at repelling energy-based attacks, and explosions (to an extent), whereas objects with high masses and kinetic energy levels (such as an A-wing pulling a kamikaze attack) just seems to go right through them, armor plating or not. I'd have the bridge in the center of the hull (like on Covenant warships in the Halo franchise, or the USS Defiant and its class of star ship in Star Trek) and the tower that normally holds the bridge instead having folding armor plating that can be deployed over the rest of the ship's superstructure and citadel in order to provide additional defense when required. All the space inside what would normally be the bridge tower would instead be used to hold additional shield generators and motors to maneuver those fold-out armor panels I mentioned before.

I always liked it because it looks like a giant arrow or spearhead.😁👍🏿
