I agree. What God treasures most is our TRUST. Our love is important but it can wane. Our reverence is important but it can wane. Our time and attention is important but it can wane. What needs to stand FIRM and steadfast is our TRUST because that is relective of a core aspect of his character- being trustworthy. We must trust before we can love, obey or even worship him for real. Why? Because trust is the essence of faith.

You’re right brother Phillip. Falling into unbelief will bring the chastisement of god. I’ve fallen into this sin one too many times and have suffered the punishment for it. Praise god for his mercy and kindness to allow for second chances.
