The 21st Lexington Lab Band episode pays tribute to Boston, an American rock band that achieved their most notable successes during the 1970s and 1980s. Centered on guitarist, keyboardist, songwriter, and producer Tom Scholz, the band is a staple of classic rock radio playlists selling more than 75 million records worldwide. Their self titled album has sold over 17 million copies alone and resembles a greatest hits package with songs like "More Than A Feeling", "Rock and Roll Band", "Smokin" and "Foreplay/Long Time". For this session we bring back some old friends but also welcome 2 new guests to the Lab. Austin Vitucci lights up the iconic Hammond B3 and Tom Leszega brings that classic Rockman Amp Boston tone on the guitar. We are thrilled to have them and excited for you to experience 5 incredible tracks from Boston - LLB

Anyone who looks through the YouTube library for remakes of classic songs easily understands that this is the best cover ever made of this fantastic song. Amazingly good work on the instrumentals! Beautiful vocal harmonies!

This has been my favorite Boston song for a very long time! Very impressed with Lexington Labs near perfect rendition of this wonderful song! Most of all I realize now how lucky we all were as young people of the 70’s to have all this wonderful music of that time! Most of all to have been the musical genius of Boston to have created these songs that I once took for granted back in the 70’s. This song has certainly stood the test of time. Love this song!

I've been watching LLB's covers for the last 4 years, especially Boston's, which are so hard and complex to reproduce, that I can't help expressing my greatest admiration to all of you. Thanks a bunch for your stunning vibe.

For over thirty years, the last 15 seconds of this song have given me goose bumps, and your version is no different. Epic job.

The best descriptive word for this rendition of "Hitch a Ride" is "outstanding"!!! Found it last week and I've listened to it 10 times already.
