F18 Fighter Jets Fly Through Death Valley's Rainbow Canyon

Watching fighter jets flying below you in a steep canyon is "almost" as exciting as bird watching! F-18's fly through Rainbow Canyon on the west side of Death Valley National Park while I stopped to admire the beauty of the Panamint Valley spread below me. I had no idea this was a famous place to get shots of fighter pilots training in what has come to be known as "Star Wars Canyon". They fly like Jedi knights at high spreed through the steep narrow canyon twisting and turning through the tight spots just like in Star Wars. Amazing.
