Hello!
I'm a recent subscriber of your channel. At the beginning, Inkscape was a quagmire, and I'd spend days on a simple diagram. Now I'm using paths, flattening layers, converting to CYMK and ish...DON'T EVER CLOSE THIS CHANNEL! Thank you.

Nice tutorial as always Nick.

I guess you could have unified the pins with the wavy line to have the gradient color fill the pins as well.

The graphic looks very nice. In every video I still learn something about using Inkscape, though I'm using it for years now. Thank you for your inspirational videos.

It really amazes me what a great eye for design you have. I would have never thought about creating circles first only to create that squiggly line from their fragments later on. You really think outside the box, very inspiring! Also - helpful vid as always xx

I feel like I owe you some cash for this - THANK YOU!!! I followed along and duplicated this. It was awesome, and I'm going to add this to my website to show the value of an aspect of my business with customers. I'm hooked on this program now!

1:50 You can also select both the red and black circle together and then go up to Object>Group and do the steps he had you do but only with fewer objects! Then when you're done and you've got all four circles you select all four and do Object>Ungroup. Lot less work than having to duplicate both of those so many times :)

Hi Nick! Thank you so much for all the lessons. I'm learning so much. I'm having a bit of trouble with the break apart function for the inner two circles. For some reason, the punched hole in the middle of the gray circle is gone, in fact, another smaller circle shows up in the middle, and nothing breaks apart. I fixed this by just doing the same thing done with the first and last.

I'm up to adding the linear gradients to the 4 x 10% grey circular shapes. I always get muddled with adding gradients so I added the gradient to circle 1 ONLY, then duplicated that particular circle 3-times. Then I centred the duplicates on the rest of the circular shapes, then deleted the original shapes below. It works for me to use that method instead of getting muddled 4-times. (Means I only get muddled once on the first circle.)

Now up to adding the gradient stops on the black 'wave'. So bad at that too I've ended up double clicking on the gradient icon to get it active, then I've selected the black wave to add the gradient to it, then double clicked the 'square' at the end of the gradient line to bring up the Gradient Editor menu so I can just hit 'Add stop' 3-times, enabling me get the 3-stops and to then drag the stops into place. (When ever I try to click on the gradient line to add a stop I totally miss and end up clicking elsewhere.)

I like the way with Inkscape if you're not so good at something there might be a work around that personally seems easier and more manageable.

Thank you as always for the tremendous tuts.
