Russia Ukraine war: Fears Putin will ‘seek revenge’ for Darya Dugina killing

As Ukraine prepares to mark the anniversary of independence from Soviet rule tomorrow, US intelligence is warning of a possible increased threat of Russian strikes on civilian and government targets.

The Ukrainian President today played down the warning, saying that attacks from Russia are a constant daily threat. Despite that the government has banned Independence Day celebrations in Kyiv tomorrow for fear of an attack.

Why is one woman's death more embarrassing than that of thousands of Russian soldiers killed in this unprovoked war .., that would require extraordinary acts of revenge., threats and brutality ? Before her demise. she was little known by most outside of Russia.

I have a hard time caring one bit for a woman whose rhetoric and lies put her on the wrong side of this conflict and probably got her killed. The rhetoric and lies that she and her ilk are disseminating has resulted in the deaths of thousands. Actions have consequences.
