I have long wanted to make a shelter from frost and bad weather in the pit. I tried to use only hand tools, not even nails in this building! I think it's a good experiment. Enjoy watching it, everyone.

Oh to be out in nature, smelling the fresh air and the trees. Hearing the sounds of nature in the animals, wind, and rain. It has been a long time since we have done that. Now, with spring and summer coming, we will just get fast food, stop by a lake, sit at a picnic table and enjoy. Thank you for sharing more of nature with us. 😊

Hey Alex my friend: wonderful to see you today. Your shelter in a pit was actually pretty cozy and pretty fast. You certainly worked very hard to get this done but 7 hours compared to weeks and months to complete your other shelters shows what you can do even with just hand tools. Like your bread snack and chuckled at your great “Hunt”. I start every morning with coffee . As you say you can’t go wrong with coffee. Loved the video and great to see you. Can’t wait for next one. Another well done idea! There is a reason why you are a worldwide favorite! I always look forward to your new ideas and builds. You have taught many people how to live out in nature, if need be. The way people used to live. I love the big underground cabin. It reminds me of a viking long house, and the celts built similar dugouts made of stone. The pit houses on Orkney island have stranding for 5000 yrs!. It would be a lot of work, but an interesting build if you chose to make a stone pit house. Just think, someone could come across it in 1000yrs! Dont forget to leave a message for all to see! "Alex was here!"😂
