If you are a college student looking for a software engineering internship for the summer or just wondering what it’s like to look for one, this video is for you!

First of all, you should probably be taking computer science as your major in college.
Start looking for internships as soon as possible.
There's really only two parts to this: getting the job interview & passing the job interview.

5. Go to networking sessions and get referrals
6. Apply online

How to PASS the Software Engineering Interview at Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon
1. Practice your coding questions
- read Cracking the Coding Interview
- do leetcode questions
2. Do mock interviews with your friends
3. Apply to a lot of companies and hopefully you can pass the coding interview

I'm not sure why I didn't think of preparing for coding interview before even job searching. Usually I thought I'd start applying then start interviewing and in the time frame is when I'd hear back, ideally I'd be prepared enough from when I started applying. This changed my perspective a lot. I'm going to start practicing before I even start applying.

To be honest referrals are really powerful but with a properly written resume and relevant experience online application will work as well. At least it did for me...So don't give up hope if you don't come from the right school or don't have the right connections.
