The wire attached to the bracket on the alternator is the wire that goes to the Camshaft position sensor you should be extra cautious around that cable or you will create a crank no start situation due to no spark..ask me how I know...

It was only when I went to take the alternator out of the engine bay that I realized I had to remove the radiator fan. Can you make a note so others can factor in that additional time? Thanks! Awesome video and super useful!

It would be nice if I could see what you were working on. Any closer we would be in the quantum realm.

the video showed the top radiator bracket removed but not mentioned in the removal process, does that require draining the radiator and removal of attached air filter housing???

This video doesn’t mention anything about removing the cooling fans or the overflow reservoir so if you are doing this job make sure to account for that time as well…

So many vids try to create the illusion that they know the secret simple way to do things. This video doesnt sugarcoat any of it and perfectly explains all the difficult parts of this process to make you truly prepared to remove your alternator. Excellent video TRQ !!

Same instructions for a 13 Avalon? 3.5L

OK THIS VIDEO IS MISSING THE PREP WORK OF PULLING THE FANS AND LOOSENING THE RADIATOR
I CONSIDER THAT VERY VERY DECEPTIVE. Most people won't DIY if they know the amount of work this involves so you just left out about an hour's worth.

YEAH NO MENTION of the prep work of loosening up the radiator and fans or removing them WHICH IS A BIG DEAL.
and no mention in title that this is a 3.5L Get it together TRQ - ALWAYS let people know the displacement. Not an honest video or overview.
