What a brilliant way to get people into a series. Let them read/listen to a huge portion of it for free. Don't like it, nothing lost. Love it? Suddenly you've got another obsessed fan. Vaguely interested? Now you know it's worth at least trying the rest of the story!

I've always tried getting into the audiobooks for these, but there's something just too special about the physical version of this books for me. Absolutely devouring 300 pages at a time at the climax of each book. It just wouldn't feel the same listening to it, getting distracted. For me, reading them, barely being able to see the book through the tears soemtimes, it's all so pivotal to the experience for me. So if the audiobook doesn' hit right for you, I encourage you try reading too! And if you audiobook is how you feel in love with the series, I love that for you too.

I'm living in a time where I can enjoy this masterpiece of storytelling and am young enough to probably see it to the end. God I'm happy. These books and the whole cosmere are just insanely fantastic. Brandon is my absolute favorite author since this book dropped.

I was just telling my eldest, who loves Stormlight Archive as much as I do, that I am hoping Sanderson will release the audiobook versions of Wind and Truth preview chapters like he did for RoW. And that he should really release WoK preview chapters as an awesome advertisement for the series as a whole. I am so glad that Brandon read my mind! And I will come back here whenever someone asks me for a fantasy recommendation.
