A fan video contributed to one of my favorite couples of the Mass Effect Universe.

I think it's time to update my old Miranda/Shep vid since Citadel DLC provided a cool amount of Miranda content. The only thing that bothered me was their out-of-nowhere conversation about "being normal" which can be interpreted in so many different ways. Certain "being normal" dialogues would have been perfect for Jack/Shep couple if Jack were not written as childish in ME 3. Anyways, something that I have learned from making these videos is that you can't just throw things to fill the gap and hope it will work, and that is the hard part.

Nonetheless, I love Mass Effect Characters.

I feel Miranda is the best tragic romance for shepard. So much character development. She went from stone cold cerberus officer who was skeptical of Shep to realizing her own imperfections and becoming softer. And like many agree they're both equals; they both struggle with being the image of "perfection" but when they're together they can make mistakes and understand each other. They can be human together

while Tali's romance dialog is absolutely priceless, Miranda and Shepard's dialog and chemistry felt the most genuine. They're interactions feel real, and the building of their relationship is the most natural of any character. Even as their relationship progresses, the moments of Miranda's affection feel authentic and true to her character. The farewell was unfortunately underwhelming compared to other character's farewells, however I would argue that Miranda's aftermath (assuming destroy, high ems) and Shepard's survival is the most compelling and emotional conclusion which I would elect to be "cannon". No insult to the other female interests, but all things considered, they all felt like pursued interests and relationships; Miranda and Shepard felt like a natural and true romance.

Miranda is the best romance for Shepard because they are equals and actually struggle with the pressure of being perfect, meaning they can't afford to fail, so they understand each other in ways the other LI can't do it with Shepard. I think it's the most mature romance.

Best romance of the saga. Real, natural, mature, dramatic and emotional. First distrust, after respect, then trust and finally love. That is the story of both. Awesome video. Shepard and Miranda forever

Good video. I always thought Miranda was the most mature romance in the game. She is the one female LI for male Shepard who has her own major accomplishments before meeting Shepard. She is the only one who does not hero worship him in some way. The other female LI's are either inexperienced young women or Shepard's protégé falling in love with their more experienced mentor. They are sweet in their own ways, but they all just kind of fall into Shepard's arms if you are nice to them. Miranda doesn't need or want Shepard unless he pursues her. But if he does, he finds a kindred spirit who knows what it is like when everyone expects you to be perfect, and to have the resolve to tackle the hardest challenges. Miranda and Shepard feel like a union of equals.

I would love to see a video made similar to this, with a Shepard/Miranda romance, but being a sadder one. Using Miranda's death scene (where she says "I love you. Finish this. Promise me"), Shepard killing Kai Leng ("That was for Miranda!") and the Destroy ending where Shepard dies.

Miranda was the most perfect romance in the game, even compared to Liara's. There's something bitter sweet about it.
Thanks for the feels, bro, I needed this closure. Since the ending I felt kind of off, like something was still hanging in the air. Since I saw that last cut-scene with her looking at the stars, waiting for him, I really hoped that he survived and found a way to her through the eternity. Your video fixed everything.
