Bringing Magical Moments to Millennial Farmer Fans:

Book The Millennial Farmer to Speak at your Next Event:

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

If your worried you will forget. Put the fill nozzle in first and leave it there. Then drain the oil. Boom.
Nobody should start it if they see that already in the engine.

Oh Zac, that (the shake) is one of the funniest things you have ever done in all the years I've watched you. thanks

We would take the key out and put it in the drip edge on the roof when we changed oil. Id bed the cattle shed. Then dump oil. Go have breakfast while it drained and cooled off

The risk is real! Just earlier this year it happened to dad.He left the car oil change to go do another job and mom drove off with it.
One wrecked engine😧
I take no chances. That key gets tied to the oil bottle until the job is complete!

I was really hoping that after then end screen there would be one of those bonus clips Becky often puts on the end, that showed how he got that generator bolt loose. Since he didn't want to talk about it.

As a kid, we always changed oil on an engine after heated up. Does it matter? You change oil when cold which is safer.

2:43 when I worked at the car dealer I would take the oil cap off and put it in the hood latch. That way. Once the oil went in the Cap went back on. When I go to shut the hood and it won’t close cause a cap is there. Oops forgot the oil. Much cheaper to replace a oil
Cap then the motor

Maybe something similar would work.

Your JD Dealer should have "Lock out/Tag out" kits. If not Amazon has them. OSHA & MSHA require them! So do a lot of trades(especially electrical)! Better safe than sorry!

I always pull the keys and just throw them on the floor board. It at least makes someone think. Didn’t work one time but I was lucky it was just a lawnmower

That is impressive that a Polaris side by side can pull a 500 pound 40 foot Draper header. That’s definitely a selling point for Polaris I’d say. You should go ahead and let Polaris know zak.

I make "Dummy" signs when I have to leave a piece of equipment . Put oil back in the tractor Dummy. I hang them so that I have to move the sign to do the important thing that would mean disaster. Like the ignition switch

I was changing the oil tractor and forgot to put the drain plug back in. Fortunately for me, the bucket was still under the tractor. I could hear the oil running into the bucket. It feel your pain. Great video.

Been having some real "build design regrets" on that shop yall build. i never have understood end load sheds like that in a heavy use environment like a farm. side load and pass through sheds are so worth it. Then again, ive only ever played farm sim sooo. lol
