How to fix Windows WIA Scan Error

If you are getting the message, 'You need a WIA driver to use this device. Please install it from the installation CD or manufacturer's website and try again. ' then this video is perfect for you. This message came up when I wanted to scan using my wireless HP ENVY Pro 6400 series (HP407109) printer/scanner. Hope this helps. If you get stuck leave a comment and Il try and help.

This solved the Windows WIA Scanning Problem nicely! Scanning on a Hewlett Packard - HP M476 MFC Printer Scanner did not work any more... Windows Image Acquisition WIA troubles. Logon needs to be changed. Local System account needs to interact with desktop!!! Well done! The Service needs another user! - and also the pc needs to be rebooted! Nice!!! Many thanks!!! It works nicely!!!

Well done. It works. Because of this solution I can finally use Windows 11. Few months ago my scaner wasn't working on Windows 11 and today didn't work on Windows 10. When I saw a applyied this solution on Windows 10 it solved the problem. So when I install Windows 11 again I'll know what to do to fix problem.
