What other game would be good for an in depth video like this?

I've played Gungeon for over 500 hours now. It never gets old. There's just so much variety, it's extremely charming, it's adorable, and it plays so well. It's hard to go to other rogue-lites after playing it because it controls so much better than other games. I seriously consider it the perfect rogue-lite game and it's going to be hard to top.

I am glad you came back to Gungeon and fell in love it with, it is one of my favorites' to watch you play on Twitch. This video is great, well structured and informative about the game.

It'd be worth talking about how the dodge roll shapes Enter The Gungeon's bullet hell. It allows for unique kinds of attacks to be thrown at the player, while being easy to pick up and useful to master.

I'm biased towards Gungeon. I agree it is one of the Greatest of all time. Dodge Roll did an amazing job, you can clearly see the love and passion on this game, and they truly killed it with extending its life-span with Updates and FREE DLCs. Truly a masterpiece.

I love this in-depth videos. You do a great job of showing what the game TRULY is and making it shine even more. You brought back that excitement of playing a new roguelite/re-playing a masterpiece in me. You can clearly see the love and passion you have towards these games and I really enjoy that. Your opinion is a very fruitful opinion to hear. The effort you put on your videos clearly shows (loved being part of the video making live).

Keep up the GREAT work. I'm excited to see what you bring up next!

I have houndreds and houndreds of hours, i got everything possible but its still my favourite game of all time.
I never get bored getting back once in a while for a good run, beating the Rat's ass and finding new synergies. Truly a masterpiece

I have been playing etg for about 1000 hours and from my experience, its one of my all time favorites. Because how fast the game plays and so many things to unlock and experiment, theres not really anything else to do except keep enjoying the game one run at a time.

Nice video! One ‘difficulty modifier’ could be the hero’s shrine. After you kill the past you can activate the shrine in the spawn room to set your curse to 9 for the run!

You talked about curse but I think this is more modified because there’s no reward for it.

I like this style of in-depth review. 1: it really shows your passion for the game - how much you have learned about the game but also how you talk about the game. When it is a game you enjoy, your speech pattern is much more animated and lively. A viewer can easily hear how much you love the game, which is much more inspiring and likely to get someone to give the game a try. 2: the in-depth video gives a much better impression of the game. The smaller review videos go into gameplay a little, but this longer video showcases the game in a way that gives a better idea of if a viewer will enjoy the game.

In all of your videos, the development/history/devs section is so interesting. While it doesn't usually talk about gameplay (so not as useful for deciding if the game is for me), it is still a fun section that allows viewers to learn what actually went into the games that they all love. Most video won't go into this section, so I find it nice that you always add it.

Nice to see another video on the main channel.

I remember purchasing Playstation plus and gaining access to a library of free games, one of these was Enter the Gungeon
I downloaded it, but it ended up sitting in my
library for months, collecting dust.

Eventually I found myself bored, and decided to finally try the game. I fell in love.
I'd never played many roguelikes before, so it served as my introduction to the genre. I instantly became addicted to the thrill of jumping back into a run, excited for new outcomes, and it never disappointed me.

The game is incredibly challenging, but like most, if you're able to get the rhythm down and take note of how it's mechanics can work, you will succeed. Unlike most games, death in the gungeon actually feels like it was your fault, and while it's definitely a bit soul crushing, it still leaves you wanting more. The bosses were a definite highlight to this, learning their attack patterns and how to counter them with certain guns is incredibly rewarding, even moreso if you can no-hit.

I adored the interactions between the npcs and the player, and I almost felt a little attached to them, if I'm being honest. Except Daisuke, he can go to hell. The gun puns oddly never felt forced or shoehorned in, rather perfectly placed and written so that each one never got old.

Fast forward a bit, I completed the game 100% achievements a couple months back, unlocked every gun and item, and still occasionally hop back in to have a taste of the game's wonderfully crafted design. I'm gonna be diving deeper into the genre, starting with hades in a couple of days. So to conclude, Enter the gungeon is a masterfully crafted game with beautiful design, mechanics, and gameplay. I cannot understate how much I recommend it.

Honestly I think rainbow runs are some of the most fun I've had in gungeon, if you haven't unlocked them you should look forward to them! It's a great twist on how the game plays honestly and adds a small bit of challenge as well

You talked a lot about making the game harder, which in my opinion, the game is plenty hard on its own at the start, and Not enough about how one can make it easier while still being able to unlock things AND progress, with Rainbow Runs. Basically built the bullet and unlocked the final gungeoneer all in rainbow mode. Did like 300 runs exclusively in rainbow mode and didnt turn it off til i wanted to unlock Finished Gun. 300 more runs later i have all achievments and finished Gun, and i still cant stop playing. Even thinking ive unlocked everyrhing, i recently learned you can unlock alternate skins for the starting guns of other characters, spuring me to playing this game once again with new goals and reigniting my love for this game for 300 more runs. I dont think i could ever get tired of this masterpiece of a game. Great video man
