Arc 7 is full of moment like this that put Subaru down as someone who is not a hero. This time with Rem. That time when Subaru destroyed an enemy camp, but anguish over their lost, thinking he can save them too, just to get him talked down by Abel because of that train of thought... Arc 7 is another peak.
