Despite having the opening credits deleted, the picture was surprisingly quite good.

All the Film Noir you could want in a movie and although the plot is an old one it has great atmospheric and cinematic art and that makes for a better film. The film is slow paced however John Carrol is particularly sleazy and slimy lead and tramp-singer helps the pace. Worth a view and thanks for posting .

Damn good movie!!! Twists and turns and a happy ending. Georgi boy wasn't too bad and he popped Broderick who was worse. Well done, well acted.

No bullet hole in the jacket. No blood seeping through. Good movie but the oldies were always filled with over sights like this. Still I would rather have the over sights than the outrageous over the charts bloody realism of today's over done special effects. We know the guy was shot in the back and we need not pick over missing bullet holes and blood. We do not need to see the realism. There are soldiers, cops, criminals and victims enough to see the real thing.
