Was glad to see the 403/703 get the hero sensor update. LOVE my OG 403 and am strongly considering upgrading since I adore the shape/weight and that sensor is perfect to me.

the majority likes braided what are you on about ? braided cable makes it slide wihtout resistance on the mouspad, that is why people even buy braided cables and change it on mouses with rubber cable

Update on this mouse, the braided cable was changed. when I bought my second 703 because my first one stopped talking with its receiver (its fixed now), it didn't have the braided cable my first one had.

i've always loved the g403 and the g703 and they came out with a hero version of it. brilliant! love ur vids bro keep up the work :)

I switch back and forth between my GPW and my G703. Grip-wise, I don't have a problem. I use a hybrid claw grip on the GPW, and I use a fingertip grip on my G703. And aim-wise, I can aim decently with both. One problem I have while using the GPW is that when I play for an extended period of time my hand starts to cramp due to my grip. That doesn't happen on my 703. But one small issue I've been facing recently with the 703 is that the weight is starting to bother me a bit. I got used to the GPW's weight that when I switch to the 703 I can't help to notice how heavier it is. I'm excited to get my hands on one of these and maybe use it as my main mouse again.

you're one of the few people actually focusing and pointing out the different grips, covering them comprehensively. Appreciate that. I'm a fingertip grip user for a long time now and that sort of information is critical for me, that's the only grip I've used for a long number of years.

I got mine when it first released for my son but got it for half off because they had the boxes marked down for the old g703. The store mislabeled the price of the new o e so they honored the marked price. I was lucky LOL.

This is by far my FAVOURITE mouse.
Switched from Razer Basilisk V1 and Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed.

My hand size is 17.8x9.2cm
I have a VERY mild claw grip where I curve my index and middle finger slightly, and the underside of my first and second knuckles are less than 5mm away from the mouse's surface.

ALL the previous mice I have used had me doubting my purchase the moment I started using them and this was the only one which I did not doubt one bit.
I really wanted to go with the G Pro wireless but it was too expensive for something that has a really high possibility of getting dclicking issues
Second choices were the Razer Viper Ultimate and Glorious Model D


The Razer Viper Ultimate to me, was too flat and felt like my palm along my ring and pinky finger would eventually cramp and many defects and design flaws were reported for such an expensive mouse. I did not go for the Model D due to it not being wireless and reported sensor rattle in one of the reviews I found.

Coming from the Basilisks, I did not expect myself to like these gentle curves compared to the Basilisks where the ergo's are rather aggressive and your fingers are"forced" to follow the edges and curves. Even though the Basilisks have more edges and more aggressive curves to dig into, I find the G703 easier to control due to how forgiving the curves are for different grip styles and also the weight.

Being a wireless mouse, I also need not worry about a messy table where the cable would get stuck under a book, wallet or what not.

I got the g403 and it has never really been comfortabel for me. But with the grip you showed in this video, it felt so much better. My aim is so much better now. Im so glad i found this video, keep up the good work. You deserve more.

update this now comes with non loud side buttons and 20m omron switches so no chance at double click

for my G603 (same shape, replaceable batteries), I put on two bits of grip tape on the sides to keep it from feeling slippery (and reduce hand strain)

I did use g403 for some time and I bought g703, but I feel it a little bit on the heavy side, to see so little difference in the weight, but still I feel it. I hope I will get comfortable with the weight.
