I bought one and it works great, even with a 22 gallon 1HP compressor. BUT it blows air constantly, its designed to. The trigger only lets the mud through. I added an air valve shutoff at the bottom of the gun to make it less annoying! OR add a regulator at the base also for air adjustments at the gun.

FYI ...So that copper washer sets directly behind the handle,
It pushes against the fluid valve .

I bought one and used it, it worked but rust quickly after cleaning it. I returned it and purchased a homex brand. It’s made out of aluminum. Easy to clean and no rust.

your compressor is undersized. 8 gal minimum or 4 cfm
