Some things to note about twitch, you can stream up to 8000 bitrate if you a non partner, only issue is people wont get notifications when you go live. And I believe you can do 1440p or even 4k maybe also 120 fps and higher, it's only recommended not to due to some mobile users not being able to see the stream cause of those settings.

Base canvas needs to stay in 1440p then output in 1080p. The quality will be better for sure. Twitch can stream up to 8000 bitrate no issue either and for the best audio you can go to 320. In the advanced tab you need to select ignore recommended bitrate. But these settings might require a two pc setup or top tier HW with any game as long as you don’t have webcams.

confirming AMD streaming in obs is perfectly fine, all the updates and new encoder added in obs for amd have increase the quality and performance.

[Video Suggestion] - especially for turbo boost processors of laptop -
recently i was facing issue of high temp and locked processor Mhz for 2Mhz if i set the power plan at 100% it will start reach Tj. Max temp and the Mhz will be very randomly sets frequency inside the game.. So the fix was to enable Max processor frequency on power plan edit option that fixed the crazy high temp and not stable Mhz now i can set whatever i want from 2.1mhz that was my locked to the full boost speed 4.6mhz current using 3.5mhz gives me stable experience especially in emulators

if your pc / internet is good, you can use 8k bitrate on twitch if your an affiliate or partner - coming from a affiliate who streams 8k bitrate.

I don't know how to stream yet but should I do the stream option since I want to do it in the future when I learn how. Does it really matter what you select? and if im only recording for now can i still copy these settings here. Completely new to OBS
