Man on Fire (2004) - Creasy, you were smiling.

Hard drinking, burnt out ex CIA operative John Creasy has given up on life until he's hired as a bodyguard to protect nine year old Pita Ramos. Bit by bit, Creasy begins to reclaim some of his soul, but when pita is kidnapped, Creasy's fiery rage is finally released and he will stop at nothing to save her as he sets out on a dangerous, revenge fuelled rescue mission.

I felt in love with Dakota fanning from the moment I saw her the first time, because she is and was such an incredible actress at such a young age. How her personality could be felt thru each of her scenes, making every film a moment in time that seems to be eternal. What a remarkable child she was my goodness. She was just like the boy playing on AI and the Six Sense. One of a kind in deed. I hope she lives her life in Christ and her family as well.

I've always found so moving when Pita asks him if he has protected childrens before and Creasy tells her that she is the first one. Keep in mind that this is a man who fought the war on terrorism therefore he factually protected every child in this wonderful nation, yet he is unable to see the hand of God in him. Excellent movie, thanks Denzel and Tony Scott.
