Thanks for interviewing with Charles. He offers a lot more detail than I've heard in any other review of the 2025 XTP.
One shortcoming compared to my 2011 XTP is the lack of independent front/rear brakes, although in truth, it's rarely needed.
It's most welcome that Can Am to transitioned to a dual A-arm rear, as the 4 Polaris Sportsman quads I've owned (currently a 1000S) were all more comfortable. (Mostly due to trailing arm)
The ease of panel removal and service, adjustable engine braking, P drive, redirecting exhaust away from the legs and back to the rear, and centralized exhaust are all excellent.

Wow the new Can-Am 1000 X TP is a beautiful machine, no doubt about it. But man at 975 pounds dry weight this thing is a beast! People are going to get seriously hurt if they're not careful. I remember back in the day I used to be so crazy on these machines pushing them to the limit. Now I'm over here sounding like an old man saying, Be careful! ...LOL. But seriously, this much power and weight can be a recipe for disaster if you're not experienced.
Ride safe out there folks!

Wow that was a very very informative video. I appreciate your hard work put into these videos. My wife and I currently looking at upgrading our outlanders, and these xtp look perfect for our riding style and area. Thanks again!

Best video of the 2025 I saw so far. I love all the little changes and the new maintenance panels. I wonder how bad the battery will be to replace. I see everyone hyping the 101 HP but no one is talking about the near 1, 000 lbs weight. Would love to see a comparison video Gen 2 vs Gen 3... I have a feeling the renegade will have alot of good changes too maybe 2026?

I was thinking about going back to a sxs from an ATV but this thing has me intrigued 🤔. Lol. Great video/review as always 👍 👏 👌 🇨🇦

Just got mine and its crazy fun. What a machine. Not sure it'll beat a Renegade XXC 1000 even though it has a 10hp advantage but it will be close. Will have to race my buddy who has one. I used to have a 2018 XXC 1000 and came from a XMR 1000 Renegade w/pipe and ECU flash. The Outty is not as snappy downlow but it pulls harder. Very impressed so far. My friends that road it were speechless. So easy to ride, so smooth, so comfy and so fast. BRAPPPP!!! Needs an exhaust though it's so damn quiet.

I like how easy those panels come off. My 2019 Outlander is a pain to access the oil filter and belt.

Time for a 1000cc class shootout! Can-Am, Polaris, and Cfmoto

Thank you for the detailed video! I have been wondering about the CVT exhaust, and you show us it. Along with that accessory trunk.

Great review, thank you. I just bought a 2024 850XTP. I think I’ll be buying a new 1000XTP now. I like all the changes. Hopefully with the new exhaust and engineering, these new 25’s don’t run as hot.

1000cc, that's a whole lot of power!

You have to remove that whole side panel to check your oil?

Premium fuel only with that compression ratio? how many lts is the tank? and how about range with normal riding style very nice video, Thanks! Thinking of getting one of these over the 24 850 XTP after your review, just have some more questions above

The Polaris 850 does 78 mph so I hope it does better than 75!

This really males me want to trade in my 2021 1000R MAXXT it's insane having to disassemble half the bike to get to the damn oil filter. Glad can am finally took some ppinters and designed the machine around owner friendly and time saving maintenance. However my MAXXT is an incredible trifecta of riding/hunting/work machine. So I might just wait till 2026 so any issues and kinks can get worked out woth these new Gen 1000R Twins.

Wow why is it half a ton quad? Almost everyone I know who rides a quad has rolled one. This would be instant death and for sure able to pin you down. Dangerously fast and heavy. And I used to race utility quads in the ama.

Great review, great video, awesome footage and pictures of the quad. Nice work on this video by covering everything we wanted to hear.
Now I want one!

I remember when BOMBARDIER brought out a step-through, solid axle ATV. I would not have believed ATV's would come to this and can-am would compete. I thought SXS's would take over the sportier side of things as ATV's would be seen as too dangerous.

I think if submarines became a recreational product, can-am would almost be ready.
