It's also a real shame that the game is no longer receiving content updates. There is still so much Nintendo can do with this game. (MarioKart8 is 10 years old and just now stopped getting updates 😐)

as a person who has never played any title of Animal Crossing, I found this interesting. I think you did a good job explaining what you did and didn't like about ACNH, and it made sense to me.
But it's kinda annoying to see that a lot of video game sequels nowadays don't really build as well on the first game, or they require a lot of updates to hold a candle to the first game. Idk it's just a weird trend recently. It shouldn't be surprising when a game's sequel is actually good
