Well you couldn't ask for a better plane to go in. On that plane is a little bit that my Tax money paid for, makes me proud.

Was that a bit of token reheat for the cameras, or is the runway so short they need it for this ferry flight?

I think its more along the lines of one NATO country deploying to another NATO country to assist in border policing. Due to Russia trying to destabilise pro EU / western former USSR states which appears to have happened in the Ukraine and georgia . the Baltic states being part of NATO already are probably extremely worried they may be next.
