I feel this. Quantum Leap cheered me up when I was so sick from covid that I didn't wanna leave my bed (though that's not nearly on the same level as being hospitalized for 2 years for a genetic disorder). Something about it is just so comforting. I put a lot of that to Scott Bakula making Sam Beckett such a likeable character, and the chemistry he had with Dean Stockwell's Al.

When my mom was dying of cancer I watched Fanboys almost every day . I found a connection with the characters and the fact one of the characters was dealing with cancer . Science fiction helps us all to deal with the pain of real life .

I hope we will see Eli Wallace in Stargate again. David did an awesome job with the character! Would also be awesome to get the reaction of the other characters when they see thin Eli :P
