For me moderate weather is between 10 and 20 C its usual from april to september, and anything above 20 is warm. And I hate hot weather - I like it for a few days, like for a week or so, but the longer it takes the more tired I m :) And over 20 years ago normal summer here in Poland was smt like this 25-30 C for a week and then big storm for a day and night and another week was mild with 15-20 C. That is to what I was used. And I m used to moderate winters with -5 to -15 C. Few times I experienced -30 C, it was a rare occurence when I was a kid and since 2005 we got nothing like this at all. I remember that about 2005 was the last year we got - 20 to -25 for a couple of weeks only in winter. In earlier years -10 to -30 was usual for the whole winter which means from start of November to start of March. Now we have in November lots of rain and winds and then in most of winter lots of rain and winds and then maybe 3 day to 3 weeks of real snowing. I was used to -10 C in February and about 0 C in March, and +10 - 15 in April and 15 - 20 in May, and now we have rather 15 C in February and 20 C in March and over 20-25 C in May. And our summer is awful with about 30 C between June to September with maybe 3 or 4 times of some bigger raining like for 2 hours a day for 3-4 days. :( 3 - 4 rains for 4 months! I hate it :( I was used to summers with weeks of raining. :)

Proper clothes in the right layer makes all the difference. If you are dressed properly there is no problem standing still outside and sweating at the same time. And yes, when it get cold enough we don’t shut off our cars. Engine oil gets to thick and won’t lubricate the engine

only - 1 C? :) I m sometimes working in my garden in -1 to -4 C and its nice when you move, when you move you are warm. and you feel fresh and energetic :)

My Goodness, I couldn't handle this. Certainly couldn't afford the clothes, heating Bill's and imagine I would look like the marshmallow man. Great for celibacy. I'm up for that. 😂🇬🇧 As always love your choice of topics. Thank you for sharing this.

double socks? :) I dont like socks so I usualy wear only shoes on bare skin and I wear socks only when it starts to be real cold in november or december. :) if its under 5 C I have to wear socks but above 5 C not :)
