Russia's Banking Crisis Will Destroy Everything

It has been revealed that the Kremlin has forced private banks in Russia to give $250 billion in preferential loans to Russian defense companies to support Putin's war in Ukraine. Russia's central bank is incapable of bailing out either the banks or the defense companies as all the loans on their books are toxic and can never be paid back. Russia could financially collapse at any moment.

The 300 billion needs to go to fix Ukrainian infrastructure, not back to Putler.

Hello from Ukraine, dear Jake! The way you present the news about Ukraine, with such warmth and sincerity, your positive attitude (which is contagious) and your beliefs and values in general make me believe that this world is not yet lost. I watch your videos to make myself feel better, and it always works! You do a fantastic job! Thank you so much!

"You can´t tell anything is true until the kremlin denies it" - great humour Jake!🤣🤣🤣

It was always gonna end in financial ruin for Russia. They never had a chance to win this war once their surprise attack failed.

I’ve long thought that when Putin starts tapping Russian pensions, the sheep will start bleating.

Sanctions should continue for 5 years AFTER the Russians leave Ukraine and all restitution is paid.

I can confirm as a double above-knee amputee, it is hellish difficult to learn to balance and walk on

The sooner Russia collapses and Putin is gone the better. The Russian people are finally starting to grasp their own dire situation. This is just a great example of what happens when you do not have a free and independent press. Information control is a staple of authoritarian regimes. Thanks, Jake for another informative and thought provoking upload. Please keep them coming.

You can bet some of those defense loans went to insiders that just embezzled the proceeds of the loans.

Same situation in Russia as in 1917, time to step down for Tsar Vladimir.

Putin is an example of how one man can destroy a country. Let’s hope Donald Trump isn’t another.

I knew the financial situation was bad in Russia, but now I'm realizing it's a lot worse than I thought. In effect, the Russian banks have been using the capital of depositors to fund military contractors. It's doubtful those loans will get repaid. So if there is a run on the banks, the banks might not have the capital to allow depositors to take out their money.
The whole Russian banking system could collapse.

I think the collapse of the Russian economy should be the goal. I think it will lead to the best outcome for Ukraine and NATO countries.

Looks like Russia executed an Australian POW serving with Ukraine. Oscar Jenkins, 32, from Melbourne. RIP. Might be worth covering on your channel, Jake.

RIP to the boy dying after trying to clean up the oil spill, trying to do the right thing and help out our sea homies. None of this is fair. All to meet the demands of a single man's ego.
