So is this essentially the same as when I would have to go to the actual wireless router (which is in my basement) and reset it? Doing your method would be WAY easier.

If you reboot the router like that do other devices, that were previously connected to that wifi, need to re login to use the wifi? Would my parents notice that I rebooted the router without asking them?
