SIMPLE Ring Floodlight Installation

In this video I will go over how to install a Ring Floodlight Camera. I have Ring equipment all over my home, so a driveway floodlight was the logical next step. Before starting the project be sure to cut power to the light, I like to double check with a voltage meter that power is actually off. If you have an existing light installed, the Ring installation should be as easy as mapping your current wiring to the ring, using the wire nuts provided. Ring makes self installation easy by letting the light hang as you connect the wires together. I also added a decorative block to the back of my light to enable a seamless transition between the siding and the floodlight.

What an excellent video take ring camera out of box and put on house well I would have never figured that out, I'm so glad you made a video. It's so nice when you did your video you left everything out of the video that people would have wanted to see like how to install it.

Does it get affected with rain since it’s not under an Dave? We have similar situation, only option to mount is next to a porch door where the current outlet is. And only about 6 ft high Thanks!

Currently having issues I'm installing 3 of these and all having the same issue will not connect to the app they are all wired correctly but the app will not recognize the MAC address or the QR scan code I connect manually to the hotspot these produce in the app says it cannot set up call tech support (no help from them) any suggestions?
