The Gulfstream G400 was introduced in 1998 as an upgraded version of the Gulfstream IV jet which was a highly successful aircraft, with over 500 units produced between 1985 and 2003. It was designed to address some of the shortcomings of the GIV and to provide improved performance, avionics, and passenger comfort. It is a mid-size, long-range business jet produced by Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, which is a subsidiary of General Dynamics.

The G400 is a real bargain for 35 million, because for the same price you only get a much older Falcon 2000LX with shorter range, less space and an old cockpit without sidesticks of the G400. If you don’t need the range of the G500 or G600, the G400 is the perfect plane, much better than a Falcon 2000 LX or Challenger 650.
