I actually use three nowdays. I have an Optima2 (audible) inside my helmet, Viso2 on my hand and old sturdy what-was-the-brand-again analog altimeter on my rigs mudflap.

Awesome video! I jump with an Alti-2 Atlas and also an analogue Galaxy normally but have just swapped out my analogue for an L&B Altitrack to go along with my Atlas!! I also have 2 audibles too!! I am always paranoid that one or more is gonna fail on me so am quite happy having something on each limb really!!😂🤣Blue skies!🤘🏻🤙🏻

I jump the same alti as you. I like the elastic armband because once the canopy is open i can move it to a part of my forearm that I can read while hands are all the way up.

Digital is so expensive here in South Africa. Another reason, delivery from US and other places is also not reliable in SA. When items arrived here, it may misplace.
For these reasons, I am waiting if any friend of mine can bring these accessories for me. :)

It was great when a skydiver loaned me his analogue altimeter for one of my tandem skydive.

I have three, Digital, Analog/Digital and Audible. The reason I got the Digital is I find it better than Analog for landings. Also the AltiTrak II eats batteries and uses the half AA battery that can be difficult to find. I tend to jump with all three unless I am wearing a GoPro wrist mount then I just use the Digital. The reason why: because I can :-)

It's quite a coincidence that I purchased a Viso 2 plus and it arrived just an hour or so before you posted your new video. I'm taking my first AFF jump this week and my eyes aren't the best so much so that when I tried the analog altimeter on my wrist I couldn't make out the 100ft increments. Will there be a problem for me to make my first jumps with the Viso? Will the instructors allow it?

I use an analog altimeter for the simple reason that I can read it without my glasses.
