I've been using Resolve for years and didn't know about the check box for 2D scrolling. Thanks for this great hint! Liked and subscribed.

Well, I never knew any of this existed, lmao.
Learned a ton in only a minute and 30 seconds. Wish other videos were as concise and to the point as this one!

Thank you! :)

Or just middle click (the scroll wheel) and just move the timeline around. You don't need to change any settings by doing this.

Thanks - it's been irritation me like crazy! The behaviour of accidentally touching the scroll wheel altering the height of tracks was annoying - especially having to ret timeline heights all the time. Brilliant tip :)

Bro! You read my mind with this video lol. Been so stressed about this for days after buying Studio. I am learning DVR still so this helps me like 10x. This was one thing that was bothering me so much while editing you have no idea haha. Subbing for the vibes!

Damn that is some beautiful on screen representation.
I spend more time zooming in and out than scrolling left or right. Is there a way on Windows to change it so I can just zoom with my mouse wheel and scroll left or right with right control + mouse wheel?

You can also click wheel sideways to move in the Timline.

Awesome tip! Sucks that the option doesn’t simply increase the use of the command key when scrolling, but not a bad trade off.

Thanks for the video. You're on a Mac, aren't you? I'm on a PC. At 00:45 I dont think I have an "option" button on my keyboard or mouse. Is there another easy way to zoom in and out on my timeline (on PC) with my mouse/keyboard? Thanks!

I discovered it by remembering the same keys on PC from Mac --> (Option = Alt) Alt + mouse scrolling = zoom in/zoom out. Thanks for "jogging my memory!" ;-) Awesome
