Hey this is Patteyayo and this is one of my slightly sarcastic tutorials for Anno 1800. Even if it's not really helping you it should definately be entertaining. At least I had lots of fun making it and that's really all that matters. So why am I even telling you this? I guess in the end I'm just another like and subscribe wh**e. Anyways thanks for watching, like and subscribe and so on, k thx bye :)

Anno 1800 spans the 19th century at the dawn of the Industrial Age. The game features a story campaign, a sandbox mode, and multiplayer mode. Like Anno 2205, the game includes multi-session gameplay, though unlike its predecessor, combat and city-building sessions are not separated. Furthermore, randomly generated maps, AI opponents that build on the same map as the player, in addition to shippable trade goods and items make a return from the previous installments of the series. After backlash from fans over the reduced complexity and replay-ability of Anno 2205, the developers decided that the seventh installment of the series should return to the series' historical roots, both feature-wise and setting-wise[1]. Anno 1800 started pre-production during Spring 2017, was announced at Gamescom that year, and is set to be released on 16 April 2019.

The game was announced early on purpose, in order to give long-time fans of the series a chance to participate in the development process and give feedback on the game.[2] To that end, Blue Byte created a community website called the Anno Union, which is used to post development updates and polls about the game's content.

tl:dr declaring independence from the Queen should remove Royal taxes but she declares war on you and enter the game as a 4th ai

omg imagine if you could declare independence from The Crown, it would remove the royal taxes but just like real life, we know it would come at a cost.

Imagine she would invade with a huge armada, she'd settle on any vacant island (this is something you'd wanna do in the late game as her armada doesn't scale, it's a set amount of ships so if you do it in the early game you're a screwed) and then she'd wage war with you.

maybe even make it into a couple steps, first she funds your enemies into beating you down, if you defeat your enemy (the ai you've started the game with) she will invade.

Could be interesting to spice up the late game, and if you want your building sim you just keep paying your taxes.

Funny video. Thanks for sharing. Just learned the hard way about royal taxes. New to the game. To avoid it should I just stay under 1000 of each class or should I just push past the threshold of the taxes costing too much?
