I would love if the products were still in their original packages.

I had a patient in her 90s who had the most gorgeous skin. I asked her what was her secret and she said no smoking, drinking in moderation, plenty of sleep and cold cream. 👍

If the companies sold a limited edition of these products in their original packages, they would be some hot items!

Thank you ! It’s very validating to see someone else complain about how ugly product packaging has gotten lately !

I always use Ponds cold cream because the smell takes me right back to my grandmother’s vanity. She was the most glamorous woman I’ve ever known! And the smell of pink Olay makes me think of my mother. She’s used it for decades and looks incredible in her 70s. I just wish they still came in the pretty glass jars I remember from my childhood.

I remember my aunt (who is 86) using Oil of Olay. My dad has used the original Old Spice aftershave (he's 82) all my life and still uses it even today. It's a smell that I will forever equate to him.

The cologne 4711 was invented sometime in the late 1790s. Holly Golightly uses it in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. My Dad used it all my life and now I use it too. I love that they kept the vintage style of the bottle.

The old saying if it's not broke why fix it. Alot of these products prove it.

I have used Pears, Nivea, and Sea Breeze for my beauty regimen all my life and my skin looks great. I am almost seventy years old.

I really enjoyed this, so many memories 😁 I had to laugh... old spice. 'If your grandfather didn't wear it you wouldn't be here' 🤣
Thankyou Sage🌞

I remember my first deodorant given to me when I was 11 after a health development lesson in school. It was a travel size of Old Spice. When my mother saw it she freaked and said that was for men. She was worried I was growing up too fast. So I never got to use it until I was 14/15. I’ve used other deodorants today, but the scent of classic Old Spice will always live in my memory.

For lipstick, you can find vintage tubes, clean them up and transfer your favorites to it. It was a trick I saw Dita Von Teese do because she adores the old vintage cases!

Sadly some of the products have changed their ingredients from the original, just the brand name stays the same :(

In the UK, Oil of Olay used to be called Oil of Ulay. I used to use it in the 1970/80s.

Simplicity and functionality will always endure. I love that in an age of endless options we still have an arsenal of tried-and-true classics to lean on when we just need something that simply does its job.

Lovely video! Here in Brazil we have a cosmetics company called Granado that was launched in 1870s and is still available today. They were seen as old fashioned and "Grandma's products" so recently they decided to use it as their marketing and focus on vintage aesthetics and packaging. Their shops now are beautiful!

I also love Yardley's bar soaps in lavender and oatmeal 💜

Thank you so much for your videos!! I am 50 years old and ever since I can remember I have used Ponds, Vaseline, and Oil of Olay on a daily basis. My mother has always used Ponds cold cream and I can still see her white and green container sitting on the bathroom counter. My grandmother (who would have been 100 years old this year) always had Oil of Olay on her bathroom counter and as a little girl I was mesmerized by the pretty baby pink color. I also like to wear Revlon’s Fire and Ice when my daily outfit calls for it!!
