In a heartwarming turn of events, a mentally challenged woman, aged 34, who went missing from her Parel home nine years ago, has been reunited with her sisters. She was discovered at a shelter home in New Panvel, where she had been brought after being rescued from the streets in a dire state. Pastor K M Philip, the founder of the Social and Evangelical Association for Love (SEAL), revealed that when Pallavi was admitted to SEAL, she was disoriented and suffering from severe neglect. Her condition was so distressing that maggots were found crawling out of her skin and ears. After nine long years, Pallavi finally confided in SEAL social worker Joy John about her Parel home, leading to a heartwarming reunion with her sisters.
