Seems good...fitted today on a 2014 Suzuki Grand Vitara with a Sony WX920BT head unit...volume and source on the steering wheel worked straight away but very easily configured the other buttons via the head unit...
simple to fit and configure.

I have a 64 plate corsa, a pioneer spa-da230dab, your ctsvx003.2 and CTmultilead.2 having read the instructions can you confirm that I don't need to cut any of the link wires and only connect the 3.5mm jack plug in order to get the steering wheel controls to work.

After following instructions and wiring diagrams to the letter this product fails to work! Yes I did make all connections before finally connecting to vehicle OEM quadlock connector. I did extensive research including getting advice from Connects2 direct on what product was needed for my installation in a 2010 Mercedes Sprinter motorhome, fitting a Kenwood DMX8019DABS. I trusted the advise given and purchased the fitting kit CTKMB18. The head unit taken out was just as pictured in this video, the Audio 20.

The only steering wheel button to respond in any way is the phone hang up button, which changes the source on head unit. I cannot turn up or down the volume, cannot answer or hang up phone.

In the Kenwood head unit under set up - interfaces - steering wheel controls it won’t respond when any of the steering wheel controls are pressed except hang up phone, which just changes source, so it cannot be programmed from the Kenwood head unit either...

The harness and unit are either faulty, not correct for vehicle, or wiring instructions are incorrect...?

I’m not your average joe diy’er either, I’m 40 years as a qualified motor vehicle tech and my steering wheel controls were perfect before fitting this product. Awaiting reply from connects2 technical department (who have been polite and helpful so far) on what to do

Follow up to say - connects2 technical we’re unable to resolve this issue but remained genuinely helpful throughout - wiring instructions are wrong! Do not connect the mute wire if fitting this head unit with this interface!

it would have been more interesting to show us the different configurations and in particular how to remove the pins to remove the excess wiring. Having Alpine I have to remove the green cable and it's almost mission impossible !! Like what the generic is not the solution since I had to order a ctmultilead precisely for Alpine !! In short you show us a tutorial by choosing the easy way

Not true tho, as for as long as I can remember, when installing a Sony head unit, u need to swap the yellow and red wires round for memory retention, u will know if its correct when you switch off the ignition, if the stereo is wired correctly, you will here the famous ( Sony beep patturn) through the speakers, if you do, this means the power wired are connected the right way round

Hello! I purchased that interface before for my android head unit but chinese product. Function so well but i decided to purchased another new head unit, also android 10” screen. But unfortunately for my new head unit not function that interface. I dont know why. How can you advise me?! My car is fiat bravo 2011 model. Thank you!!!

switching the red and yellow wire will not pop a fuse, its both 12v. second its DC like every battery, so no opposing currents

Hi just fitted a connect2 harness to a Nissan NV200.
Followed all the instructions but the buttons not working properly, it seems that the buttons are muddled up, can you advise how to reprogram it.

What sort of head units use the Park Brake
, Reverse Gear, Speed Pulse? Why are they needed by a car stereo? Just bought the citreon version CTSCT008 and multilead adaptor. Will be using with pioneer so all 3 wires are kept intact and 3.5mm socket used for remotes. It's a basic 1 din usb/bluetooth PIONEER MVH-S410BT. Pretty sure it won't need the 3 extra wires. Seems simple enough. All going in a 2007 C4 Grand picasso.

Hello, i just bought an interface of yours to renault clio 3 . Doesnt work. The main problem is, when i plug the cars iso harness to the interfaces harness theres missing some wires . Theres just black and yellow wire. The antenna and the ignition wire doesnt continues in the interface. The other end is fine, every wire is there where it should be and its amount is ok. So when i plug in everything even when the acc is off a head unit powers on and shuts down after about 30 sec. I have to plug a plus wire from the cars red wire to the head units red wire and that way i can keep it running but it wont turn off until i unplug . Tried hours spending with the touch learning, i dont get any reaction from the steering wheel buttons. Can u give me some advice ?
