As a shotputter growing up a coach taught me to put the shot left-handed and right-handed so as to not create muscle imbalances and increase my overall core strength.

You are a wise man to force on left arm improvement

Throwing accuracy is the culmination of many factors It isn't in and of itself one collective thing You can.
Train your body to its peak But if you're missing an eye, you're depth perceptions going to be off and you're not going to be as accurate A lot of accuracy comes from hand eye coordination Strengthening yourself gets you longer distances, not more accuracy

This is nice for those without any full time jobs.

As a someone who fell of the stairs some years ago and is still having back problems (and other down-the-line problems from being unable to do many types of exercises for a long time), doing flexibility and back exercises really helped me. Still have problems with "rapid" movements, like throwing stuff, but slowly getting better. The moment I started exercising (instead of DOING NOTHING!), I got surprised how great progress and improvement it gives!

I already knew this, but I’m glad your covering it. It’s a unique stimulus that stretches the inner components of the shoulder in a way many rehab exercises do not, it also trains you to use your scapula and the muscles around it in a way you wouldn’t think you could if you couldn’t already throw and write with that side. It almost seems silly no one trains it on the other side. I learned so much about biomechanics when I had to learn to use my left arm for everyting from opening doors to wiping my ass

I’ve been throwing a ball with my left hand over the past few months and I feel developing the coordination has really improved certain aspects of my left-side injuries.
