Yeah Japan got the hype !! I just checked out Bacchus yesterday and also they have awesome fender-like instruments. Also if you're looking for Gibson Hollow bodies like guitars, Seventy Seven is just incredible, and relatively affordable

BTW: Modena is a major city in Italy, near Maranello where Ferrari sportcars are built; so Modena Red is probably a way of calling it "Ferrari Red" w/o infringing trademarks

I built a 24" scale guitar and love it. I have average sized hands, but it still works really well for me. Brian May's guitar has a 24" scale, so you don't have to have small hands to play one. I recommend them to anyone!

I used to own a Fender Jaguar from the original Hybrid line from 2019. It was basically Fender Japan's answer to the original American Professional series. Mine came stock from the factory with the American Professional V-Mod Jaguar pickups and CTS 1 meg pots.

Traded it to a '61 Reissue Gibson SG as single coils do not fit what I was going for.

The made in Japan guitars are high quality. I looked at fender strats, a MIM, a MIJ and a made in USA. The MIJ was impressive and so was the MIM which actually had better string tree, better finish as it was pearl, the MIJ had a rolled fingerboard and fit n finish was awesome. Based on what I saw the USA wasn't with the price compared to the other two.

I have a blue Hybrid II strat that I picked up after A/B'ing it with an American Performer. Was AUD$600 cheaper and its neck and rosewood board is the stuff of dreams. Most comfortable and slinky guitar I've ever played! Big fan of the mint pickguard as well. Here in Australia, the Hybrid stuff is only slightly more expensive then the Player series and is amazing value for money!

A Japanese Fender telecaster ( pink paisley version) was the best playing Tele I've ever tried.

It’s hard to beat MIJ quality...I have a ‘94 MIJ strat and its a killer guitar and for being over 25yrs old...I also have a FGN tele style guitar MIJ...$600 and its my regular player...I love it so much I’m real close to getting another FGN model...can’t say enough about them!!!!

I prefer rosewood too… my teacher has a mij guitar. It’s absolutely stunning.. black double bound body and rosewood fretboard. Classy 😎
