Best tip. Have seen many of my friends getting burnt because of those "deals". I've only used laser with dermatologists and certified clinics. Best thing for hairy people that don't like being hairy. Hurts a lot for the first times, but then it gets easier to handle.

I started laser removal at 20 and unfortunately didn’t do proper research and got burnt in multiple places but the worst was the armpit area, it took 2 years to heal. Now I go to actual good clinic, they even refused to do my face as I barely have any hair and it could cause more hair growth. Thanks for helping others!

If you are on the lighter side skin-wise with dark hair, IPL can be a decent enough option. I have light olive skin with black hair and it worked for me but even then, IPL is better for thinning hair rather than removing it completely. It can also cause changes in your skin tone. I had it done on my legs but for more delicate skin, I would probably opt for electrolysis

My advise from experience and having a mother in the industry. For areas like legs use an at home IPL that's right for your skin. Areas with sweat glands and higher senativity (brazilian & underarm) get a professional laser and pay the full amount. And delicate areas like the face, go for electrolysis by someone who does it frequently rather than a clinician who does it as part of their role and doesnt do it every week. This is just mine and my mums personal advise - always do your own research!

I had laser hair removal in the hospital in the dermatology department. First appointment was done by a doctor in order to assess the parameters of the machine for my skin. The following procedures were performed by a nurse using the same parameters. Technically I had a medical condition (ingrown hair) that gave me a reduced price but it wasn't cheap. Best money ever spent.

I have and have used IPLs for 2 decades they have worked so well for some aeras but not all and my hair is so patchy. And i have really stubborn growth where you don't want it!
