The arteon exterior is the best looking vw imo

This car is rare and beautiful. Although I barely see any on the road, kudos to VW for not giving up on it. Great Review!

My Arteon Premium R-line is such a head turner. Constantly getting comments and stares. I'm in love with it.

There is actually an easier and quicker way to turn off the lane keep assist. You have to press the button on the end of the left steering wheel stalk and it brings up a menu in the digital dash cluster. The lane keep assist is the top option so you just press the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel and it’s turned off.

Just bought a 2021 SEL Premium last week. Awesome car with great looks and nice technology. This car is replacing a 2008 BMW 528i that I purchased new thirteen years ago. I am a German car enthusiast and love my BMW but there are a few things that BMW is doing now which I don’t like. The first thing is unless you are purchasing a black or white exterior paint job then you are paying extra for any metallic paint. Second is run flat tires. I don’t like them as I prefer a traditional spare and RFT’s are expensive. The third thing is a base 530 car which runs you over 50k comes with vinyl (sensatec) seating covers. To get to the Napa line of leather you have to jump two trim levels which takes the car to over 60k. My Arteon has Napa leather seating, a full size spare with the matching wheel, and there was no up charge for pyrite silver metallic on the exterior. To me this is an awesome car which I got at 42k and free money from VW credit.

The volume knob pointing up at all times is so relatable.

This is the best review of the 2021 Arteon that I've seen thus far - detailed and honest. Great job!

This is like a less expensive Audi A5. I really enjoy the hatchback design!

For all those who have an issue with the price, I hear you, but take a look at what they are actually selling for. The VW dealer near me has them advertised for more than $6, 000 below msrp. That really changes the equation!

Lmao “ you have to go deep in the menus, and go through a couple of settings (almost crash)” 🤣

the price is OUCH. coming from someone who used to own a GTI. thats well into Audi/BMW money. this car's biggest problem is the existence of the A5 sportback which most ppl will spend the extra for

Thanks for another great review. I currently drive a super-clean Avalon with a killer Focal sound system and, as a wedding photographer whose car gets frequently used as a luxury Uber, I REALLY like the space & storage matrix they've put together here. Due to historical reliability, I'm always drawn to an Avalon or ES350 but this car is compelling to me. It's not a GTI, but no car with a big backseat will ever be a GTI. I'll probably get an ƒ-Sport ES350, and just admire Arteons at the stop light. Fun to drive? Everything's a sports car compared to an F-150 or Ridgeline.

What fantasy land do manufacturers think we live in? In any major city you would have a bent rim within a week with this wheel and tire combo. Bring back the 17 and 18 inch wheels.

Few interesting things I found for North American market was:
1. Port injection per press release
2. Tri zone AC standard on all variants . Avalon has only dual zone.
3. Bottle holders & glove box has padding.

I think SE which is under 35k is the best variant to go with. Got the chance to test drive arteon se & accord 2.0 yesterday and I personally liked fit and finish of vw is excellent. Doors are heavy, camera has more clarity and infotainment has best contrast & audio sound is very nice. Accord 2.0t runs on 87 octane which saves money in pump, very soft & comfortable seat. One thing I observed Honda offers ota update which is very nice.

Volkswagen usually gets one thing right. And thats pricing. But this time, they screwed it up. Nobody's should pay that money for a Volkswagen accord.

Im not sure if it's the YouTube algorithm or ive not been searching properly but I'm ticked that I just found this channel. Subbed after two vids. Commentary useful, keeps focus on what I wanna see, and no corniness lol. (Also the shank comment on the Passat video had me rolling. Can't unsee it now)

Fun fact about the Arteon is it was actually manufactured in Germany!
