Thanks for making this! I used the site to do a floorplan and was really happy with how easy it was to use and how good it looked with the 3D renderings and walkthrough. Gladly paid the $6 to export high resolution images when I was done. A bargain.

Easier than adjusting after drawing the room, try keeping the mouse button pressed while drawing (just wait for the little blue line to show) and writing the feet/inches with the other hand on your keyboard (I do it with the left on the numpad) and hit [enter]. This dimension will be added to the walls where the blue line showed.

this is great software, i've designed about 15 houses with it already. I can do in 15 minute in this what takes all day in 3DSmax and more importantly I can change walls, doors, windows, furniture etc in seconds vs hours in 3dsmax.
the only negatives I would say is it crashes all the time when editing surfaces, and the furniture library needs to have furniture sets. for example impossible to find a sofa and a chair the same color. or 2 kitchen units of the same style. Also trying to get exact dimensions is a little frustrating and needs a way to turn off snapping sometimes.

I cannot enter the room dimensions like you do about 3:27 mins into your video- all it does when I Left CLICK the mouse is allow me to move the entire floorplan. If I could do what you do it would make things a lot more easier! thanks

Hey, I wanted to ask if it's possible to create standalone walls let's say of 120cm to mount a toilet on it and the other walls are of a standard height of 260cm. Is there a possibility that the smaller wall doesn't connect with one of the other walls, so that it doesn't create a slope? Thank you in advance for the answer.

Thanks for the tutorial Joshua! I'm brand new with this program, and learned a lot watching your video. But I'm struggling with something very basic. As I'm drawing all the individual rooms inside my building, rooms that were there keep disappearing and reverting back to having a grid surface instead of the colored floor surface. What am I doing wrong? I worked on my design for a couple of hours last night, and now a lot of my work is just gone. I can't seem to restore it and I'm having to start all over.

Do you need to pay to upgrade in order to be able to view the outside of the house I designed the house but when I walk out side it does not show the external walls?
