How to block wireless devices - TP-Link Router

This video shows how to block wifi access of laptops, net books, mobile phones, tablets etc on TP-link router.

You can also block illegal access to your wireless router like hacking the password of router's wifi. Legal or illegal access, their MAC address will be registered to router and can be block.

make sure that wireless MAC filtering is enabled. And if the entry of the MAC address is enabled, make sure that you select the button "Deny the stations specified by any enabled entries in the list to access" in the Filtering Rules.

Thank you so much! You dont know how easy it is to hack tplink modems with that stupid wifi password app! Both my neighbors use it and there is always a bunch of kids that come out here and sit across the street with their phones!! I thought my internet was generally slow but know that I banned literally 27 unknown neighbor clients it is actually pretty fast. Thanks a lot! My list went from about 12 wireless devices connected at noon to only my Ps3 and my sisters phone.

get the MAC address of the devices that you want to block and add it to MAC filtering. And if they are connected to your router's wifi you can put a bandwidth (internet speed limit) on each devices. Go to Bandwidth control > Rules List > click Add New then enter the IP address of the device you want to limit the internet speed. in the Egress & Ingress Bandwidth enter the minimum and maximum upload and download speed you want.
