Hi, my spouse has received an extension of her open work permit and now we have to apply for a TRV extension. There is a question in the questionnaire - "What does your family member want to do in Canada?"
Options: 1. Apply for or extend an open work permit 2. Stay as a visitor.
I am thinking I select option 1 as it is more apt, but can you share your views? Ideally, the option should say "Work" but there's no such option.

Thank you so much for the information, I have a question if I am currently a Co-op student and want to apply for a PGWP at the end of co-op term. Firstly, Can I continue to work at the company without any break? Second, I just have to say YES in the field "Is your work essential part of your studies"? and Lastly, Can I submit the job offer letter which I received at the start of the coop (Because in my case I received the full time offer at the time of coop)?
