While Adam and Eve are in the Garden of Eden, the serpent finds Eve alone, tells her lies, and deceives her into eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Eve also gives the forbidden fruit to Adam and he also eats of it. This is when sin entered into the world of man.

Eve was tempted by a fallen Angel, and she obeyed. This gave the evil one dominion over the earth. Mary was asked, not forced, by a Holy Ark Angel and she accepted. This allowed God to walk among us.
