Will the factory tach work with a MSD box?

If you are doing this job, install 6000K led's in the dash illumination sockets only, I re-did my cluster as well with new bulbs (even used 168's which are a little brighter) and had to remove my cluster again 1 year later to install led's because the illumination was so poor. Now illumination is great, matches my other incandescent lighting I left alone on the climate controls, console and radio and everything is still dim-able. I used Sylvania zevo 6000k super-brite 194 led's, they are dim-able, polarity sensitive, have a heat sink and lifetime warranty, pricey at $22/pair, but I don't want to do the job again. Job took 10 led's. You want to keep incandescent's in the areas I mentioned to aid in current draw through your headlight switch rheostat facilitating smooth dim-ability.

I got a question. I got a 71 mailbu car with the sweeping dash. I was gonna convert it over to the round gauges. So I need the gauges and wiring harness.
I bought a set of ss factory gauges with the tach, amp, and temp gauges in it. And then I bought a wiring harness separate. But that wiring harness wasn’t Hooked up to a set of gauges with all the temp and tech and amp gauges. Is their anyway I can get those (temp, amp, and tach) gauges to work with that harness? Could I add another set of wires to it? Or do I have to get another wiring harness to get that to work ? I need help lol
Anyone can chime in to help me. Thanks

Hey Chris. Got a question. Have a 72 Monte Carlo. Gas gauge was working when I took it out. Plugged it back in after swapped the clock for tach and reads below E now. I put my multi meter on the screws on backend the gauge and get 49 ohm. Is that the normal state? Is it possible I shorted the gauge itself?
