Warren Zevon's been my favorite artist since I was a kid and, like so many others, this song was my introduction to his fantastic discography. I still remember when I finally figured out his name; it was over 20 years ago, I was in elementary school and my buddy's dad told me about him and made me a mixtape with a ton of his songs, but mostly Werewolves of London lol.

If this is your only exposure to Zevon do yourself a favor and listen to some of his other songs. Werewolves is a catchy tune, but he wrote a lot of songs that are much better in my opinion. Hell, just start the album Excitable Boy and listen to the whole thing. I doubt you'll regret it.
