I’m so happy that you visited my kitchen today and I also hope you enjoy all the quick and easy meals from our week. Fall is in the air and I was in the mood for some warm, cozy, comfort food. First I made a recipe that originally came from my precious first grade teacher, Mrs. Leitch. I have such sweet memories of her, she was a very special lady. And what’s more comforting than a batch of pumpkin french toast, eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. Then I ended the week with two “new to me” recipes that I know you will LOVE, Crockpot Beef and Pasta Bake and Chicken Pot Pie Bubble Up Bake! I also show what I did with some leftovers from last week and what my husband made when he was on his own for the night. All of these look amazing!!!! Seriously can't watch while I'm hungry it's dangerous! I've made something similar to the beef and cornbread casserole you did, and I often cook with my hands so no worries smit the French toast. Sometimes I feel like cooking for someone is such a spiritual thing, too care for the needs of another, not just their physical, but their need to connect through food and warmth at the dinner table. Cooking with your hands just feels like more of me and my love for others went into the food.
